 | AMRITA HOBBS has designed and facilitated innovative programs, workshops and residential camps for teenagers and adults since 1975. In 2002 Amrita embarked upon a journey and has been living as a nomad since then. Travelling the world and responding to the invitation from schools, private individuals and organisations she goes to the places she is called and offers her work.
She has visited Russia, Estonia, UK, Ireland, Europe, USA and Canada. Travelling to Turkey and then South Africa she is now home in Australia. Amrita is visiting the UK and Europe in June through to August and South Africa early next year.

Rites of Passage and Initiation
Rites of Passage type experiences with teenagers and adults are an integral part of Amrita’s work. Amrita is passionate about her work. In this increasingly complicated world Amrita believes it is our adult responsibility to create community support for young people going through the challenges of adolescence. By guiding them through the transition from child to adult we grow up ourselves.
It is never too late!
It is vital that we guide, educate and prepare young people for their teenage relationships. Amrita offers workshops about relationships and gender and Rites of Passage workshops with young people and adults believing that it is time to change the ways we relate.
