GROWING UP GREAT!
Many of us were not prepared for the responsibilities of womanhood,
or even considered what they may be. If we pass on to our daughters
the power of womanhood, they will find women’s community for
themselves wherever they go.
The day offers mothers and daughters an opportunity to change the nature
of their relationship - to be friends, build bridges as the teenager pushes for freedom
and opens up awkward conversations.
We talk about the Feminine Mysteries - the gifts of our Cycling nature and the
importance of conscious fertility.
We explore the challenges at puberty highlighting communication and
connection, explaining and importance of finding and expressing her true self.
Circle time is special; we create something new - respect and honouring, a powerful
bonding and spiritual connection. We are able to learn from each
other, as we move from one phase of life to another
Through ritual and sharing we feel the strength of ourselves as females,
our ancestors, our future.
The best part was sitting talking to my mother eye to eye. On the same level not mother/daughter but human to human. The support you gave to us was incredible;

A change has happened within myself. It’s very subtle, and I can’t explain it, but I know it’s there.
