MOON DAUGHTERS
is a wonderful way for mothers to spend an afternoon with
younger daughters.
For 7 - 10 year old girls.
By introducing your daughter into a special circle with other girls and with women
you are giving them an opportunity to connect to the feminine mysteries early
in life. If this is a good experience they will be open to sharing more time with
women as they grow up.
When moving into adolescence this gives them women who can formally offer
mentoring, women who can provide a supportive web to assist them trough adolescence.
This is another way to create the village each child benefits from.
Moon Daughters is an introduction to feminine circles and
weaves threads of connection to our lineage. It is an introduction for the girls
about the power of the moon and the cycles of life.
  
Through stories, songs and craft activities, the girls are reminded.
The girls made powerful statements when asked what it would be like
if feminine energy came back to the planet:
"We would have more circles like this one",
“There would not be as much concrete”,
“People would be nicer to each other”,
“We could spend more time in Nature”.
