FATHERS AND DAUGHTERS

I run workshops with fathers of daughters as a one day, similar to Girls Growing Up! with fathers and their daughters. I require that fathers have attended an evening talk and girls a Girls Growing Up!. To attend these talks I would like support in transport and I request a small financial contribution. This list has been put together to make all of our jobs easier.

SEXUALITY - WHAT TO TELL THEM, HOW AND WHEN!

A workshop for parents of both boys and girls from kindy into adolescence.

Explores how can the facts of life be brought to children in a sensitive and imaginative way that is appropriate to the developmental stage?
How can we weave attitudes of caring, respect and reverence for our bodies and physical relationships from an early age?
How are you modelling intimate relationship to your children.

Explores these issues, answers your questions. From 10 am to 4 pm. Can be an evening.

RITES OF PASSAGE - an experiential journey

What are they are why are they important?

A four hour program to raise awareness about the importance of marking times of transition.

This workshop assists parents to recognise these gateways for the sake of their children and so be in a position to mark the important times they go through.

For adults this workshop is a reclaiming of some of the things missing as we grew up. A satisfying and powerful experience.

CELEBRATING SONS

I offer a one day programme. This involves both mothers and fathers for some of the morning and a ritual separation from mothers. For the rest of the day the bond between fathers and sons is emphasised and strengthened.
