A SPECIAL YOUTH WEEK INCENTIVE THE GETTING REAL AWARD IS ON!

Congratulations to you for all the efforts you have put into this very important event.

WE ARE OFFERING A NUMBER OF AWARDS AND IN SOME CASES BOOKS AS PRIZES FOR YOUTH WEEK PARTICIPANTS.

We have received some financial support. This means we can offer a limited number of books to be given away with the awards.

YOU CAN PURCHASE COPIES

If your organisation or Council wish to purchase a book to ensure that the young person/people you nominate receive a copy you can do so by sending a cheque for $50 to

We are asking people to donate funds to the Getting Real Award and hope to add this to our current available stock and have even more free copies available.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENTRY INTO THE GETTING REAL AWARD PRIZES

1. During Youth Week look out for the young person who stands out. Whose input made a difference in your community.

2. Take the name, phone number and email address of that young person and include it on the form below.

3. Write a brief description about the contribution he or she made and why you chose this young person in not more than 500 words.

4. Email entry to info@amritahobbs.com before 25th April.

5. On receipt of your nomination we will assess all entries.

6. We will inform you if the young person you nominated is successful.

THE GETTING REAL AWARD will be mailed directly to you as the Coordinator.

7. Celebrate THE GETTING REAL AWARD given to the best achievers in Australia.

Organise a special presentation event for the receiver if you would like to. Doing this will lift the profile of youth in your community and be a valuable follow-on from youth week.

It will also be a great acknowledgment to its winner.

8. Contact your local media. Invite them to a special occasion: this could be at a school assembly, a Rotary Club dinner, any special event in your community, at a youth club Ð or whatever is workable for you. We would like to keep a record of press coverage so please send any press releases to us:
