INITIATION WORKSHOPS FOR WOMEN

As we grow up we are fortunate if we have older women who can guide us, speak about their experiences of being female. Women who pass on the wisdom of their experience of life. We have few elders in Western society. Many of use learn by trial and error.

There are other wiser ways where women come together and share - stories, pains, joys, heartache and about their love. There could be times to celebrate the moon phases, our bleeding and our birthing times. Times to honour our first bleeding, the first of our sexual experiences, the coming into the Crone. Also times when we celebrate our successes.

Amrita has been designing programs and offering groups with younger and older women for many years. The Reclaiming Our Rites series of workshops brings her work with adolescence and women together. She is committed to empowering the influence of the feminine. One aim is to of creating a balance of power between men and women in our World.

new understanding about our role as women.

Traveling to your Community

Amrita is available to run women's workshops in your area. To make her work possible all over Australia and the World she requires women who are willing to organise groups and programs.

Girls Growing Up! a one-day program for mothers and daughters has been well received all over the World.

As well as facilitating the workshops, Amrita is available to give lectures and seminars, personalised rituals and individual sessions. She also offers programs in schools.

Wise Woman Healing is an intensive training which includes a one month residential retreat. The next intensive residential program is likely to take place in 2006. If you are interested please contact us and we will inform you as soon as timing and place becomes clear.
